This is a man I know who is watching television. His head seems large for his body. Only yesterday I saw a man with very large feet and a very short neck. I did not draw him because people would scarcely have believed what large feet and short neck he had. The world is full of improbable looking people. This is an occupational hazard for the artist.

Look what Picasso had to cope with. Here is a woman with an elongated neck, dislocated breasts and a belly that has flopped over to the space where you might expect her chest.
Artists often have to draw and paint some odd looking people. It often fills us with despair.
